In this study, the authors compared the impact of receiving versus not receiving extended case management services to those who are newly resettled in two separate cities. Participants receiving extended social work initially experienced higher rates of employment, income, and employment satisfaction than those who did not. Findings point to the benefits of extended case management in promoting economic integration.
