Description:
This is the introductory webinar for NCB’s SOT-ICC self-assessment tool that answers the question “What is the SOT-ICC and why should your program participate?” on November 11, 2020.
The SOT-ICC is a self-assessment of multi-disciplinary practices and systems for programs serving survivors of torture, using a group discussion format. It is specifically designed to assess your program’s level of integration between legal, social, medical, psychological, and other services.
The tool aims to facilitate program staff dialogue in determining your organization’s positioning and status on the care continuum relative to Program Logistics, Treatment Delivery, and Program Development. SOT programs have found this process valuable for identifying and operationalizing their care practices and systems that may be fit for purpose, and to make decisions about any programmatic change or new investment based on an informed understanding of their program status, opportunities or needs.
There will also be data dialogues spaced throughout FY21 to give a wider range of programs the opportunity to participate when it is convenient for their schedule.
Presenters:
- Kirsten Anderson, Program Evaluation Advisor
- Jennifer Esala, Evaluation and Research Lead
- Alison Beckman, Senior Clinician
