Clinical Care of Survivors of Torture Grand Rounds: Long Covid symptoms, identification, and treatment

The Center for Victims of Torture and The Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma are excited to announce the free “Clinical Care of Survivors of Torture” National Grand Rounds which will take place on June 12, 2024 and September 18, 2024. These virtual, one-hour sessions are coming up soon and we want to ensure you can register for the first of the three-part series!
About the Program
Offering a holistic health care approach to survivors of torture, their family members, and their community can be challenging. This new national Grand Rounds course will present a series of lectures from leading experts on the best practices and evidence based medicine for the care of survivors of torture.
This three-part series is sponsored by the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma, the Center for Victims of Torture’s National Capacity
Building Project and the Office of Refugee Resettlement and free of charge for attendees.
Target Audience
This program is intended for psychologists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other staff who treat survivors of torture and refugee
populations. All health and mental health practitioners will get CEUs and physicians, psychologists, social workers, and non-clinical persons will receive a certificate of participation.
Registration
You will need to register for each virtual lecture, the first of which is on June 12th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET (11:00 – 12:00 CT, 10:00 – 11:00 MT, 9:00 – 10:00 PT) with Dr. George Alba. These lectures are free, held virtually, an hour-long, and accredited for 1.0 CE. All attendees will have to register for an LMS account through the Psychiatry Academy in order to access/view the Zoom link and to claim CE:
