The Weill Cornell Center for Human Rights (WCCHR) is the first student-run clinic that offers medical and gynecological evaluations to survivors of torture seeking asylum in the United States. Health professionals play a critical role in the asylum process by documenting the physical and psychological sequelae of torture in asylum applicants.
