School of Data

The School of Data provides user-friendly, free online courses to help you work with data and present your findings.  (The “School of Data” is a collaboration of the Open Knowledge Foundation and the Open Society Foundations.). They aim to make your learning experience as tailored as possible through independent learning modules. Learning modules are all stand-alone and can be taken in any order. To make your learning experience easier, they curated modules into a series of courses – with a focus on data basics as well as specific skills. When you identify the course you’re interested in click on “Show Modules” to see all modules you might want to take.

We are a network of individuals and organizations working on empowering civil society organizations, journalists and citizens with skills they need to use data effectively. We are School of Data and we believe that evidence is power.
