NCTTP Symposium Update
The hugs and handshakes will have to wait – but the solidarity, scholarship, and sharing will be abundant and heartfelt.
The recent surge in the Omicron variant has made conducting an in-person gathering for dozens of people coming from all over the country logistically challenging – and perhaps downright unwise. As such, we will have to conduct our NCTTP Scientific Symposium remotely for the second straight year.
As disappointing as it is to not be able to be in the same room with you all, or to have the opportunity to break bread (or to sip on something refreshing) with you, we are comforted by the fact that the NCTTP will do everything in its power to keep our community members safe. We are also confident that the ongoing exchange of ideas and insights will remain at the usual high level, and that all of us will gain from the shared wisdom of our stakeholders, clients and invited guests.
So please be on the lookout for the finalized “Save the Date” and “Call for Papers” emails coming to you before the end of the year. We will also be updating this information, as well as details about the rest of the week’s activities (the NCTTP Business Meeting, and the ORR Grantee meeting, and the Legislative Advocacy efforts) on our new and improved website: www.ncttp.org.
Our virtual gathering, starting on March 7th, 2022 will just be one aspect of what we expect to be an extraordinary year!
Until then, be well and stay safe. We wish you and yours the best for the holiday season and beyond.
One love, Hawk
