Data-driven decision-making is one of the Office of Refugee Resettlement’s six guiding principles. The Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Assistance (META Project) puts this principle into action, helping improve ORR-funded organizations’ capacity to collect meaningful data, manage it well, analyze it effectively, and use the resulting analyses to improve programs for refugees in the U.S.
META provides one-on-one technical assistance, learning resources, and trainings to help refugee services providers improve their monitoring and evaluation (M&E) practices. At the same time, the META Working Group aims to ensure good data is available and used to inform quality services helping resettled refugees thrive in American society.
