This report follows-up on the report of March 2016 by Juan Mendez to UNHRC. It specifically looks at torture and other types of severe punishments on “women, girls, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and intersexpersons” in response to the reality that most existing frameworks have been written for and about men. It includes a combination of articles and essays by global experts.
