Consultation Announcement
Consultation Announcement
NCB will be offering one technical assistance consultation visit this fiscal year to a Survivor of Torture program that is funded through ORR or is a member of the National Consortium for Torture Treatment Programs. This consultation visit will address the area of evaluation, with recommendations and strategies to implement program objectives. These consultations are open to newly-funded programs as well as more established ones and last two-three days.
Below are a few examples of targeted technical assistance:
- Developing a Board of Directors
- Fundraising
- Data collection and evaluation
- Organizational development
- Developing psychoeducational groups
NCB will cover the flight, hotel, and per diem costs of the consultant. What we would expect from you is a specific objective, a point-person within your program that would communicate with NCB’s consultant, and involvement by your program’s leadership and respective staff, ensuring sufficient time to meet with the consultant during the visit. This technical assistance visit may take place at any time within this fiscal year. (Please note: while NCB is offering one visit this year, more will be available in the upcoming fiscal year.) We will make a selection based on date of application and clarity of purpose.
Please apply by July 15, 2014. If you have any questions or would like more information, contact NCB Project manager, Faith Ray, at [email protected] or 202-827-8552.
