Ms. Pilch, MA in Forced Migration, is the Stabilization Adviser in the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations at the U.S. Department of State. Jacqui joined the federal government in 2012 as a Presidential Management Fellow with the Department of Homeland Security’s Refugee Affairs Division. With DHS, she spent over three years as a Refugee Officer conducting adjudication interviews overseas, primarily in the Middle East. Jacqui has been working in the field of resettlement for over 10 years, including positions with the Resettlement Support Center in Accra, Ghana, UNHCR Washington, and as a volunteer and intern at various domestic resettlement agencies. Jacqui holds an M.A. in forced migration from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a B.A. in international development from American University.
