Husam Abdulkhaleq

Dr. Husam Abdulkhaleq was a psychiatrist with the ACCESS organization, the largest Arab-American human services nonprofit in the United States, from 2001-2014. He treats patients simultaneously dealing with post-war trauma, the strenuous experience of exile, and culture shock upon arrival in the US. He is a Palestinian refugee who takes care of many Iraqis in Sterling Heights and Dearborn, MI. Watch a brief video interview with Husam here.
