The Center for Survivors of Torture (with centers in Austin and Dallas, Texas), provides specialized rehabilitation services to survivors of torture and their families. Torture treatment services were established in 1997.
CST is a member of the National Consortium of Torture Treatment Programs.
Do you have to be a survivor of torture to be eligible for your services?
Yes, CST provides services for Primary or Secondary Survivors of Torture.
If someone is not eligible for your services do you assist with local referrals?

Serving Texas, free standing offices in Dallas, Austin, satellites in Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston. All services are free and include:
- Mental Health
- Medical
- Legal
- Social Services
- Training
- Telehealth Groups: Meditation, Coping Skills, Art Therapy, Children’s art group, Community Resources, Psychotherapy, Yoga, Mindfulness-Breathing
- Teens: Navigating culture and education, and Community College Education Program
