Ann Lundberg, our dear friend, is retiring

Dear colleagues,

With mixed feelings, I am writing to share that Ann Lundberg, our long-time National Capacity Building (NCB) colleague, plans to retire at the end of September 2023, after more than 30 years of service at the Center for Victims of Torture (CVT).

Since the NCB program’s inception in 2001, Ann has made significant and lasting contributions that greatly benefitted our SOT community of practice. Over the more than two decades of service, Ann has worked collaboratively and tirelessly with our NCB colleagues, ORR SOT program staff, and technical partners in planning and delivering technical assistance and training provisions that are timely and responsive to the community’s technical requests or needs. For the SOT service providers across the United States, Ann has often been their first and most helpful key contact with NCB.

After decades of service to others, Ann will soon embark on a much-deserved rest and relaxation, and new future adventures.  For the many of us who have had the opportunity to work with Ann over these years, we will miss her greatly.  Her unwavering dedication and commitment to supporting the SOT healing centers and their clients is deeply appreciated. We are most grateful to Ann and kindly ask everyone to join us in wishing her the very best for her impending retirement.

With warm regards,
Huy Pham
