Survivor Resources [1]

There are thousands of torture survivors who recover from their trauma and lead very productive and vital lives.

If you are a survivor of torture and would like to seek medical, mental health, legal or social service assistance, please contact one of the Healing Centers [2] nearest you.

If you are in urgent need of mental health assistance, please go to Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA) Find Treatment web page [3]. This site offers information and a 24-hour Toll-free treatment referral helpline: 1-800-662-4357.

Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition International (TASSC) [4]
The mission of TASSC is to end the practice of torture wherever it occurs and to empower survivors, their families and communities wherever they are.

Refugee information

Many survivors are also refugees. Please review our Refugee Resources [5] pages for more resources.
